I think I may have to change the main photo up top, of the diner counter. Whenever I look at it, I crave pie--the kind (blueberry? strawberry rhubarb?) you might order in a diner. With a big scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
That's pretty much all I have to say.
I am fairly tired, after our battle with the wind and current on the river today. All weekend I wanted to get the canoe out on the water, but we waited until this third day, later in the afternoon, when a good wind had picked up. My shoulder was not ready for that! We need to find a more sluggish, lazy river for our next canoe excursion. The river we live near is a tidal river, so there can be a strong current depending on the tide.

I so love canoeing. We did have the wind here too though in the past days. But for tomorrow they forecast tropical temperatures ;-).
I ike canoeing, too, Marcelle. Especially when you can sit back for a bit and just glide slowly.
I wish my daughter liked canoeing more, though!! She finds it too "tippy" and kept saying she was scared.! She learned how to paddle a one person kayak last summer...so maybe we'll trade in the red canoe for a kayak or two.

I've never been canoeing but it does look fun, hard work tho h?
I have terrible cravings for the local Denbigh Farmhouse vanilla ice cream with a piece of hot chocolate fudge cake mmmmmm
