Last Day, part 2

A gentle day,
a calm sea on the last day of 2010.
Taken just after 3:00 on the town beach.

Good-bye 2010. Welcome 2011!
For more(and far more riveting) photos, check out The Boston Globe's The Big Picture.
If you scroll down, there is a three-part look back at 2010 with bold images from all over the globe. Some are painful to see. Others simply beautiful.

Such delightful pics Tina... Perfect for a last day of the year. Makes me want to walk on the beach (which is quite impossible here lol).
Goodbye Twenty Ten indeed...

~ Cessie and Rosemary,

It has been freakishly warm enough these last few days to really enjoy being ON the beach in the middle of winter.

Happy New Year dear Tina, looks almost like spring on your images.;)
Or snow has almost all melted, so strange as only a few days ago we were in deep cover.;) Our December has become a record month in so many areas, being he coldest one ever and the most sunny ever as well. Indeed, it has not at all felt as dark and oppressive as we are used to.
Have a great Sunday,
xoxo

ahhhh the beach. How much I long for a walk in the sand! maybe this year? I hope so!!
It looks warm in your pictures. Is it the case? I've seen on TV and in the newspapers how snowy and cold it's been, so these are rather pleasant to see.
Have the best 2011!!
