Yes, Jewel doesn't seem to mind the cold much at all.(ahe also loves to chase snowballs and eat snow) She really should wear her coat, but she seems so miserable in it, I usually let her go without it.
Very seasonal pictures; I particularly like the ones of the bare trees; that is such a symbolic image of winter, as very rarely, at least here, they will be covered with snow.
Your dog is so cute! I have never had a dog, but I can imagine it is quiet different than with cats. The connection you make is more significant; cats only connect with you if THEY want to.;))
Thank you for all your lovely comments on my blog, I always love when you stop by.;)
Fantastic pics Tina. I'm here, if you follow the link on my name. The previous blog doesn't exist..started fresh with a new one. I also took a break from blogging and commenting..Hope you're great :)
I love walking, and do so whenever and wherever possible. Love the slides from your winter walk, there is such pretty architecture in the branches and trees in the winter.
~Protege, You are right about dogs, as compared to cats. I never even had a dog until almost six years ago when Jewel came into our lives. They are much more wanting to be with you and listening to you every waking moment, wheras a cat likes to go off and sleep alone for hours or do it's own thing. I ike them equally, although I have to admit, I spend more time with my dog.
~Amanda, I wasn't sure if anyone even noriced the poem--I thought it fit perfectly.
~Rosemary, Yes winter really IS a winter this year(we also had a wimpy almost snowless one the last two years here). It is the way it is supposed to be.
~ Arty, Glad I was able to find your new blog...!
~Thanks, Joanne! I love to walk and having a dog forces me to do it on an even more consistent basis.
~Roseann, You probably noticed--no pines or fir trees-lots of oaks and beeches.

What lovely pictures. I especially like the swamp. Very pretty!
I love the poem, too!
Nice slideshow. You always seem to find new sites for me to visit.
Get your shovels ready because more snow is on the way. Winter is really winter this year, isn't it?
