I've been tagged, by The Clever Pup herself. Eventually I am going to run out of interesting randoms about me and I have already exposed quite a few of them in some random thoughts and lists entries here.
But, in this new tag, I am supposed to list 7 random facts about moi (and in turn tag seven other people)
Here goes....
1. I have reoccurring dreams with large lizards in them (usually skulking around in my yard or childhood home) and/or having to use horrendously filthy public bathroom stalls (usually with no doors). Obviously, I have issues.
2. The oldest thing in my house is a 1838 edition of "The Young Man's Guide" by William A. Alcott (grandfather of Louisa May Alcott?). I have read most of the book and find Mr. Alcott's advice wise in an old fashioned, sometimes sexist kind of way. Here is his counsel about "Female Society" (page 230)--this excerpt isn't too bad:
"No young man is fully aware how much he is indebted to female influence in forming his character. Happy for him if his mother and sisters were his principal companions in infancy. I do not mean to exclude the society of the father, of course; but the father's avocations usually call him away from home, or at least from the immediate presence of his children, for a very considerable proportion of his time."
3. I dislike the taste or even the smell of honey.
4. And I really, really hate the taste, smell and even just the sight of a fried egg.
5. I get annoyed by the sight of men in white turtlenecks ...it's just not a good look and should be outlawed. It makes them look as if they were three years old, while a man in a black turtleneck is incredibly sexy. Think of James Dean in that famous photo of him, face half covered by a bulky turtleneck (not sure if it was black, but that's the general manly idea).
6. I never figured out how to whistle.
7. There are certain movies from the 80's that I saw in the cinema then, and can watch over and over to this day:
Spinal Tap, A Fish Called Wanda, Diva, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and PeeWee's Big Adventure (really!).

What a cool list. I am with you on the eggs. I cannot do eggs. Except to bake yummy dessert like things.
Also, I cannot whistle. My son makes fun of me for this.

Those are some interesting things :) I can not stand the smell of fried eggs, turns my stomach!

I too have reoccurring dreams; about elevators that do not stop but keep going. Scary.
I love old books; I think my parents have one from the 16th century, but it is unreadable, so no as fun as the one you have.:)

Interesting list going on here. 80s movies have that way about them, when you can watch them over and over. I guess I'd add Breakfast club to your list.

Oh good--so I am not the only onw who doesn't like eggs(can't eat soft-bolied or hard boiled, either, but will eat well cooked-dry- scrambled)! Like you, I can eat them all mixed into a batter for cooking or baking--so they are good for that.
And you can't whistle either? heh..heh... ( often I really wish I could--I ove when I hear someone whistle a tune)

You too with the fried eggs? One of my co-workers, a really great guy, gets Huevos Rancheros made with a fried egg nearly EVERY day for lunch from the cafe next door and I literally have to try to keep out of the back room and start to gag when he is eating it. But..I can't bring myself to tell him because he is such a nice man he would feel bad and then probably never order it again.

Oh my--elevator dreams! I used to have frightening clanky metal bridges I had to cross on foot. All these fears inside us.
So P also doesn't care for honey, too..hmmm...
My husband and daughter LOVE fried eggs--I just leave the rom or at least lok the other way when they make and eat them.

I saw "The Breakfast Club" at the movies when it came out and do you know? Have never seen it again? That might be a good one to rent and watch with my daughter...(whatever happened to Judd Nelson?)
I can't stand eggs, friend or in any other form/presentation. But you don't like honey?! First time I hear of someone with such a dislike...interesting.
When I was around 7, and went to music lessons around the corner of my house, the teacher used to give us a 10 minute break, and always invited us - my brother and me - to watch some TV. They had cable, which only the wealthy did back then, and we always watch a portion of the Pee Wee TV show. That clip brought back memories.

How fun to learn this new stuff about you! You know that dream about the icky bathroom with no doors? I have it too. A multiple-stall affair. What's up with that?? At least we're not alone.

I had no idea you hate honey! I love all sweet things so I love it, I sometimes put it in my tea even!:) The lizard thing must be really unpleasant...:(

Interesting you don't like honey....I really loooovve it, one of my fave things to eat is Greek yoghurt with honey :-).
And I often eat eggs sunny sight up.
And I did not even know you didn't like these things!!
