This is going to be a short one(and heavy on the photos) since I feel groggy this morning. I didn't sleep all that well because of a headache I couldn't get rid of and its still with me this morning. Which is strange for me, since I usually sleep well, rarely get headaches and am almost always an annoying morning person(after my one cup of coffee).
And right before I woke up, I was having a dream in which my husband was yelling at me. We were at a wedding and it turns out he was berating me about my poor table manners. He informed me I was scarfing down pizza like a cavewoman (there was pizza at a wedding reception!) and that I had been ingnoring and being rude to the waiters.
I have a mammogram appointment looming before me today, too. At 5:15 so my husband can meet me there (see...in non-dreaming life, he is not a yeller generally and actually a kind man). Yes, I am such a baby about it that I need some hand-holding .
Also, I left work Monday with some tension filled "issues" so have no idea what awaits me there.

At least I had my day alone with my thoughts and the dog yesterday. It only occurred to me this morning, as I was making the coffee, that I barely spoke to anyone yesterday (or at least until 3:30 when I went to pick up R from school) and that I really liked that. The phone never rang, and I never went anywhere(since I am doing my Lenten "buy nothing" thing) so there was no reason to talk to anyone except for a certain black dog.
Jewel and I took nearly a two hour walk through the woods and down to the bay. Even though it doesn't look it from the grey and browns of the photos and I didn't see one single sign of spring (other than that there wasn't a single patch of snow left anywhere) it felt like spring.

These are beautiful photos. I love to see what it looks like where blogger friends live. Jewel's adorable. And...wow, I relate to the wonderfulness of a day alone from time to time.

What a funny dream.

Good luck with the mammo.

Hey Tina,
Beautiful pictures :) I know what you mean about peace and quiet. After Daniel went to work at 2pm, I did not talk to anyone except my dogs till he got home from work, that was a good 11 hours. I normally talk to my mother but I got busy doing "me" things I guess. I am sorry you are not feel to good. I wish you well for your appointment today. You are in my thoughts :)

i love the pictures. it does look incredibly peaceful. i hate weird dreams like that because then i try to figure out what i'm subconsciously trying to tell myself. good luck on the boob squishing. i had my first one a yr or so ago and it really wasn't as bad as i'd heard.

Beautiful pictures, I LOVE the beach and taking long walks. I love the sot of the sea shells.

I recognize myself in your post very much; I feel very tired and I have been thinking of taking a few days off, as I feel I need it.
I also today posted about being unhappy with my work.;))

I hope your doctors appointment will go well and that you feel better soon and can sleep well tonight.;)))

xoxo

I absolutely love that last shot with your (I assume) shoes in the pic. Very cool.

I've done that before, had a dream in which my husband was mad at me or I was mad at him, and I always have trouble getting myself out of it. Like, I'll see him and be all irritated, and then go, "Oh, yeah. That wasn't real."

See, even when your day starts out rough, you still write well! =-)

It looks lovely there. I would love to live right by the ocean... Of course I live right by the mountains, so I guess that works, too!! Beggars can't be choosers!!

It is strange what your subconscience does in sleep. Strange!

I have not had one of those dreaded "M" things. I do not look forward to them at all...

A day of silence is an excellent thing indeed.

I really hope your headache subsides and you get some rest. Good luck w/ the mammo too. I don't like going for those type of things either...

Fabulous photos. And Jewel is so cute.
