This video (below) is not of my cat--I could only wish my super laid-back cat did things like this. Mine only sleeps, cuddles on your lap at night, meows about 20 times a day to be let in and/or out, sometimes swats at the dog and kills poor, innocent birds and rodents outside(although, thankfully, he hasn't been too successful at that lately). The cat in the video reminded me a lot of the Kliban cat. See if you don't agree...

The clip reminds me of my US cat Gypsy; he would, at any time, jump into a paper bag if one would hold it in front of him opened and scratch the bottom on the outside. I only wish I would have it on film.;))

being home all day now i get to see what the pets do. sleep mostly. the cats get up in the morning, eat and then nap most of the day! leah, the big black lab moves from the couch in the den to the couch in the living room while keely, the austrailian shepherd goes outside a lot and then comes to tell leah if there's something she needs to inspect out there! LOL btw--you have an award at my blog : )
One cold get him (her?) all the cool kitty toys, and what he (she?) entertains himself (herself?) with? a box! priceless, as one of those credit card commercials would say. :-)
I just recently watched this video, I can't remember why I found it. I like the description of your cat, though. Like when I describe Lexi's behavior and then I have to say, "But I love her," because I know the person I'm talking is to is wondering why would I want a giant, shedding, overly-excitable spaz for a pet.
Funny little kitty! I was just being entertained by my kitten playing in a basket this morning. Maybe I should video it.

Well,some cats play dumb but in actual fact they are far more intelligent than dogs like the cat on the video. Weird coincidence: the cat on the video looks like Michel! - the crazy cat I used to have. Thanks for the inspiration. My next blog will be on Michel!!! By the way, how does Jewel get on with your cat?

LOL... that was so cute!! :) I frequently have big boxes around the house that my cats are in and out of. It's not necessarily planned that way, but cats sure do love a box.... always a great toy for them!! I bring home large empty boxes from work, thinking I'll use them to clear some clutter for storage.... well... it never happens. When a box enters the house, it becomes the cats' box. They sleep in it, play it in, scratch it apart, and in the end sometimes spray it too, and that will be the end of that... LOL. I just have to figure out how to get a large box in here and not have them destroy it before I ever use it... hmmm. A great treat for them is to throw some catnip in the box too.... lots of fun!! ;)
