Lazy Days

Just as my weed choked flower beds have been untended, my blog has been withering from lack of attention and interest. I fully intend to get back into the blogging swing of things soon
(and reply to comments and read some favorite blogs, as well).

For now, a slide show of some (mostly out of focus--sorry!) images from my morning on the beach yesterday. We(my sister, my mother and some friends) got there at 8:30 with muffins and iced coffee in hand, and left at noon. I'll have to do "breakfast on the beach" again this summer.

I think I'll be seeing a similar beach in person when my friends and I visit Martha's Vineyard in Aug! I'll remember to take an iced coffee and muffin, too.

Oh, I am so envy! Gorgeous shots! Here it has not been weather for the beach yet, barely any sun actually for more than few days here and there. But I guess the summer is just beginning, thus the hope is still there.;)
Have a lovey Monday,
xoxo

That's just the best way to start the day. Coffee and muffins on the beach from morning!

How convenient to live so close to the beach!! And what a wonderful day you had to enjoy your family time!
When it is so gorgeous outside, who would want to spend time indoors?! I don't blame you. I actually encourage you to enjoy a peaceful, relaxing, lazy days of summer :-)

~Barb,
In Aug., you'll be in my neighborhood!(there is a ferry that leaves from my town, for MV)
You travel all over, don't you?(am a wee bit envious)

~c.k.,
That is exactly how I have been feeling, coupled with plenty of other things going on, to keep me away from yardwork)

~Thanks, Meg! :-)

~Zuzana,
Still not summery enough where you are?? I hope that'll change for you soon--I know how you love the summer sun and heat.

~Thanks, Peg! I am not a good photographer, so could have had some even better shots at the beach that day. Still, I tried and I appreciate your comment.

~Hi Arty,
it seems strange, though, that these days, I am at the beach without my daughter(her social life keeps us more and more apart)

~Any time, Amanda!

~Claus,
You are right, and I DO appreciate where I live and how easy and quick it is to get to the beaches.(and I can say I am always thinking of all those people living along the Gulf coast in this country and how sick it must make them to witness what is happening to their water, wildlife and beaches)

~Clare!
You are there! and Here! Lovely to see a comment from you pop up(since I know wyou have been on a bit of hiatus)
