Wordless skies....

The view on July 4th, from my hammock under our choke cherry tree.....

And the sky later in the day.....

A Reflective Wordless...

...Wednesday.
It's a messy jumble, yes, but I like how this photo looks like a collage, almost. I was looking in a book/antique store window in Wickford on a very bright and sunny day. There was a little girl inside (with bangs), but you can barely make her out.

Almost Wordless Wednesday

Some days, it's good to just stay in your Snuggie pile. This is how Jewel has been weathering these recent rainy days.

This photo just slays me.

I think it is beautiful.
And not only because there is a goat in it(have I said I have a soft spot for goats before?)
The imagined tenderness on the part of this Vermont farmer(circa 1974 from the U.S. Nat. Archives) for this animal in his arms might be just that--imagined.
But I sense a strong feeling in this man's make-up for the animal he is entrusted to feed and care for.
